SASQUATCH DEALS • STANDS ALL 17 • BJ PAYS 3:2
Place a bet to be dealt in.
Basic strategy is the mathematically best move for every hand — it won't guarantee a win, but it gives Sasquatch the smallest edge possible. Find your total on the left, the dealer's up card across the top, and make the move where they meet. Tuned for this table: dealer stands on all 17, double on any first two cards, no splits.
HARD TOTALS (no Ace, or Ace counting as 1)
SOFT TOTALS (Ace counting as 11)
Why it works, in three rules of thumb:
🧊 Dealer 2–6 is a "bust card." The dealer must keep drawing to 17, so weak up cards bust a lot. That's why you stand on stiff 12–16 against them — let Sasquatch break himself.
⭐ Dealer 7–A is strong. Assume the hidden card is worth 10. Against a likely 17+, your 12–16 won't cut it, so you hit and try to improve even though you might bust.
💰 Double when you're the favorite. A 10 or 11 becomes 20 or 21 with one ten-value card — press your bet while the dealer looks weak. Pairs? With no splitting on this table, just play them as their hard total.
